Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect
The only personal information we collect directly is the email address you give us when subscribing to codeLabs. When you subscribe, that address is stored as a contact in our Resend account so we can send you new articles.
We also use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate traffic to the site: page views, referring site, approximate country/region, and device type. This is collected without cookies and isn't tied back to your name or email address. Our hosting provider, Vercel, also keeps standard server logs (IP address and request timestamps) for security and reliability, as any host does.
2. How we use your information
Your email address is used only to send you new codeLabs articles and a one-off welcome email when you first subscribe. We don't sell, rent, or share your email address with anyone else.
Aggregate analytics data helps us understand which articles are useful and where readers are coming from. It isn't used to identify individual visitors.
3. Data storage and security
Subscriber emails are stored and processed by Resend (resend.com), our email delivery provider. The site is hosted on Vercel (vercel.com), which processes standard hosting logs and analytics data on our behalf. Both providers maintain their own security practices and privacy policies, which apply to how they handle data on our behalf.
4. Your rights
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send you, or by emailing us directly. You can also ask us to delete any data we hold about you — email dev@codelabs.com.au and we'll action it promptly.
